Our response to COVID-19

As the world adjusts to the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we are being guided by the recommendations of the WHO and other leading health organizations. As such, WARA has taken a variety of actions, including:

Educating our members about the virus and sharing resources on how to keep safe

Encouraging our members to use good hygiene practices, including frequent hand washing

Reinforcing education and hygiene with regular communications and reminders

Encouraging our members to practice social distancing

Encouraging our members to closely monitor their health and seek medical attention if they develop flu-like symptoms

With so many hams around the world now confined to their homes, many are spending their time on the radio. Now may be an opportune tune time to dust off your radio, fire it up and work some great DX.
